Application and requirements

Who can apply, and what are the prerequisites?

Our courses are primarily aimed at museum professionals and educators, but some of them also welcome professionals working in the cultural sector and local government staff.

Before applying, please check the requirements on the page of the specific course (e.g. required qualifications, professional experience or employment).

How does the application process work?
  1. When applications open, the link to the application form becomes available on the course page. If the link is not yet visible, applications have not started yet.
  2. Submit your application by completing and saving the application form. The system sends an automatic confirmation of successful submission.
  3. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place on the course. Applications are evaluated after the deadline, based on the number of applicants and the participation requirements of the course.
  4. Following the evaluation, the system notifies applicants by e-mail of the acceptance or rejection of their application.
  5. Within a few days of the automatic notification, the course organiser informs participants by e-mail about the practical details and payment.
What is the minimum/maximum group size?

Group sizes may vary by course. As a general rule, a course is not launched with fewer than 5 applicants. The ideal group size is 10–15 participants; the maximum is usually 20. Some courses may differ.

When will I know whether the course will run?

We decide on launching a course after the application deadline, based on the number of applicants and the course requirements. Applicants are notified of the decision by e-mail.
